本州の旅 - パート3 (part 3)

15th Mar 2007, Night, very cold.... Brrr

So we left Disneyland for Prince Hotel at Ikebukuro. The hotel room was visibly smaller than the one at Narita Marroad Hotel... I didn't really care since we'd only be here for a night.. After putting our luggages in our room, we met the rest and Wong-san brought us to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Apparently, the restaurant was opened by a Taiwanese.. Anyway, the food was so-so, not very spectacular... Hahha...

I was more eager to buy Alina's other stuffs at Tokyu Hands and when I heard that it's closing at 8pm, I freaked out..! I barely had enough time after dinner!!! So after Wong-san roughly told us the directions and such, my aunt and I made a dash to Tokyu Hands... I managed to grab what I wanted to buy before the annoucement for closing sounded... *Phew* Why does Tokyu Hands close so early?!?! Arghh..

The other shops closed much later, so we had a walk.. We took a look at some shoe shops, a Hello Kitty store, and Parco. Bought a really cool looking keychain camera for myself and Jieli.

Aunt bought a pair of cool-looking plastic sandals too.. Parco also has a section that sells really beautiful kimono for weddings and festivals... Of course, the price is also very "beautiful"... ==''' After some window-shopping, we then walked back to our hotel.. On our way back, we braced the icy night air, and ate some green tea sofuto (ice cream). Delicious!! We also passed by a very traditional makeshift Ramen stall.. The Ramen uncle was very friendly and readily agreed to take a photo with me! Hhahaha...


This quirky Ramen uncle also knows one Hokkien word.. "Hoh Chia!" (which also means hao3 chi1 in Chinese, or Delicious)
