Using the i-cord belt to act as a tie for this belt. (Pretty much like a corset-style)Pattern: Drops Design 103-6 Dress with shoulder straps in ”Alaska” knitted with cables and Rib
Yarn: Jaeger Roma (grrr, the yarn is peely! all the angora wasted...)
Needle size: 4mm and 5mm
Modifications: Did more pattern repeats due to the smaller gauge. The ribbed top stretches too much for me, so I knitted one round, and bound off quite tightly in "knit" method. I used mock rib for the straps and sewn them on directly to the top/dress instead of using buttons.
Add-ons: I-cord belt, crochet belt
Extra Notes: This top/dress doesn't really look flattering on me (which is the reason I added a belt to make myself look slimmer.......... =='''). And somehow.. it seems too un-rhinestic... LOL... It does remind me of some retro type of vest though.. Maybe it's the color... Think it would look better in gray or black.. Then again, I just took whatever I had enough from the stash... Or perhaps the top that I wore it with couldn't go with it...

I got a new sewing machine some weeks back.. haha.. have yet to finish sewing a hoodie top (u can see it unfinished a few posts back)... Need to finish knitting some stuffs first.
I knit this too! It looked AWFULL on me, so I frogged it (I knit it in the recommended yarn - you can read all my woes on my blog). I think it looks great on you though!
