Day 3 (Part 2): Being above the clouds..

You might be thinking that I was kidding when I said the climb was gruelling... Why not look at some photos...

Quite a long flight of slippery stairs..

Walking up steep slopes in the rain... (But I looked happy... O.O)

It's foggy... (It's cloud..) But this photo looks quite stunning... Like something out of a Harry Potter.. HAHAHA..

More slippery slopes to climb.. Do I see some light at the end?

But I think all this climb was made worth-while with the amazing scenery at the summit. (Shihoko made a very good recommendation!)

A viewing spot where you can see a chain of mountains.. If it's clear, Fuji-san can also be seen...

Sadly, Fuji-san was hidden amongst the clouds...

This happy little kid had a good time at the viewing deck...
