This only applies for AS2..
Okay, so you've followed the instructions for setting a dynamically created mask on a dynamically created movie clip, bus alas, the mask failed to work. If your aim is to load an external swf or image into the "maskee" movie clip, and use a "masker" movie clip to mask the "maskee", then I'm sorry, that would never ever work.
The workaround for this is to create a container movie clip to hold the loader, and apply the mask onto the container. Try it, it'll work!
