First lesson at Textile Printing Class

Our lecturer is Angelynn Tan, a full-time Nafa lecturer as well as a textile designer (she's the first to release a bamboo fibre range of apparels and products locally). First lesson was pretty much an introduction to textile printing and we got to get our hands dirty in trying out screenprinting using existing screens in the studio.

I was clumsy enough to let the printed fabric fold onto itself while hanging it up to dry, getting ink all over the unprinted areas.. =( Also,  for some reason, the ink that I used spread (which shouldn't) while it was drying... The lecturer said the ink might have already gone bad. Ah, sad.

The reverse side of the fabric (which looks much better than the right side..) Can you see the gold specks?
