Daiso Maniac Saturday: #18 Origami Papers with Furisode Prints

I couldn't call myself an origami buff but I am intrigued by the art and the myriad of origami papers existing all over the world. I have a love for traditional Japanese patterns and this set of origami paper caught my eyes at Daiso.

The packaging says "Furisode pattern". Furisode is a type of ladies' kimono with long sleeves. And the patterns printed on the papers are indeed gorgeous. Each design comes in 2 sheets of paper, perfect for making an origami kimono.

Following instructions from this youtube video, I made 3 kimonos. =)
