Last Minute Project: Waterproof makeup pouch
Hi guys, am flying tonight to Russia for a short getaway with my hubby and friend. Quite excited because I'll be meeting another friend who's staying there. =)
Made this pouch yesterday night. The pattern is similar to an earlier version which I made for my a trip.
I'll post a rough tutorial once I get back from my trip!
See ya!

Last Minute Sewing: Silhouette Cameo Cover
Yes, my Silhouette Cameo deserves some love:
I think the camera wasn't in focus properly.. The photo's kinda blurry... Heh. Anyway, I just sewed my remaining pieces of fabric from my bedroom curtains together to form 1 big rectangle. To fit the Cameo better, I used hair clips to secure the sides instead of sewing them down permanently.

Last Minute Sewing: Extra Large Make-up Pouch
Why last minute:
Because I realised I didn't have a pouch that's large enough to hold not only my make-up, but also my perfume and what-not... Just a few hours before leaving for airport..
Inspiration was from a Japanese Zakka Sewing magazine called Cotton Time. I've basically followed the directions to get the nice origami feel on the sides of the pouch and it's pretty simple. I think I might write a full tutorial for this so stay tuned!
